Kate’s Wedding Day all began when our founder, Kate Yoder, was asked to informally coordinate a friend’s wedding in 2012. She found that she loved coordinating weddings and began offering to help other friends with their weddings. Eventually, word spread that Kate was an essential part of any wedding and she began officially promoting her services. Since then the business grew to include several other coordinators who work together to make flawless wedding days all over Central Pennsylvania!

When you book with Kate’s Wedding Day Coordination, you receive unlimited access to your coordinator via phone and email, in addition to an in-person consultation prior to your wedding day. Our coordinators are the first person on site and the last to leave, serving as point person for all vendors and wedding guests.
From the moment you hire a KWDC coordinator, rest assured that you are in good hands and you’ve got nothing to worry about. We’ll guide you through all the details, make suggestions and recommendations, provide ideas and solutions and ask thorough questions you didn’t even know mattered! We’ll help your rehearsal move along quickly and efficiently, and on the day of we’ll handle any last minute issues (we’ve even been known to run out for more beer)!

Once you’ve made your way through a tunnel of sparklers and confetti, the last thing you want to think about is clean up. KWDC coordinators are always the last person to leave the venue. We ensure that all clean-up is complete, personal items are packed, vendors have everything they need and the venue is left as it should be.
My experience with Kate's Wedding Day Coordination was nothing short of FABULOUS! Kaitlin was extremely organized and thorough; after a detailed consultation a few weeks before the wedding, I was convinced she knew the wedding plans better than I did! I did not have to worry about a single thing and was able to relax and ENJOY my wedding day knowing that she was behind the scenes making sure everything went smoothly and everyone knew what they were supposed to do. One specific example: I had designed the reception seating chart to be on an old storm window and a few hours before the ceremony, it tipped over and shattered. All Kaitlin had to say was "I'll take care of it!" and I knew I didn't have to fret. I literally didn't even give it a second thought. After the ceremony, I saw it beautifully set up on two windows, propped on a rustic bench with decorations all around...I liked it BETTER than the original! She truly understood my wedding vision and made it all happen perfectly!! Other than saying "I do" to my husband, hiring Kate's Wedding Day Coordination was honestly the best decision I made for my wedding day. It would have been so stressful and chaotic without her guidance and expertise! 100% recommend her services!! She is awesome!
